Editorial Policy

Editorial team

Articles and software on this site are produced under the editorial policy of the operator (KK siiiiiixth), using AI systems including Anthropic Claude and OpenAI Codex to assist with research, drafting, verification, and implementation. AI output is not treated as an expert reviewer or primary source. The operator retains final responsibility for selection, verification, publication, and correction.

• -Pre-publication checks: claims are cross-checked against primary sources (Bitcoin whitepaper, BIPs, Bitcoin Core, Japan's FSA and NTA, and equivalent agencies)
• -Recurring re-verification: time-sensitive topics are fact-checked roughly every 3 weeks to 3 months and updated whenever the facts have moved
• -Recording corrections: when verification surfaces a substantive error, we correct it and record the change in the revision history shown at the end of that article, together with its last-updated and last-verified dates
• -Authors and reviewers: we do not currently name individual authors or expert reviewers on articles. Once a review arrangement with named subject-matter experts is in place, we will state it on the articles concerned

Primary sources first

For regulation, tax, ETFs, economic data, and historical facts, we cite primary sources (official agencies, original papers, originating documents) wherever possible, and list them as "Primary sources" at the end of each article. In practice we prioritize:

• -Technical: Bitcoin whitepaper, Bitcoin Core documentation, BIPs, developer documentation, core-contributor publications
• -Japan regulation/tax: FSA (Financial Services Agency), NTA (National Tax Agency), Ministry of Finance, Consumer Affairs Agency
• -US regulation: SEC, CFTC, Treasury, IRS, Congress.gov, White House
• -EU regulation: ESMA, European Commission, MiCA documents
• -International: FATF, BIS, IMF
• -Historical facts: contemporaneous official announcements, credible reporting, whitepapers

Neutrality

We describe facts about Bitcoin objectively and keep opinions and value judgments to a minimum. We do not claim "you should buy Bitcoin," "the price will rise," or "Bitcoin is better than other crypto-assets." For contested issues (environmental impact, regulatory pros/cons, internal protocol debates), we present multiple perspectives neutrally.

Fact-checking

Before publication and on a recurring basis, we re-verify factual claims against primary sources. Numeric claims (halving BTC values, block heights, halving dates, ETF approval dates, Mt.Gox loss figures, etc.) are cross-checked against multiple sources.

No price predictions or investment advice

This site does not publish Bitcoin price predictions, buy/sell timing advice, or recommendations of specific exchanges or wallets. This is an absolute prohibition arising from both legal positioning (no crypto-asset exchange or investment advisory licensure) and editorial policy (educational mission).

No advertising or sponsorship

This site does not accept advertising networks, exchange affiliates, paid articles, or sponsored content. Nothing we publish depends on an advertiser.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 for usage analytics. It is disabled by default via Google Consent Mode v2 and is enabled only if you consent via the cookie banner. We do not use advertising identifiers, advertising cookies, or third-party ad networks. See the privacy policy for full details.

Update cadence

Two update policies apply, depending on the nature of the content:

• -Time-sensitive topics (regulation, tax, ETFs, economic data, market dynamics): each article shows an explicit last-updated date alongside primary-source links. Reviewed at least once every 3 months and updated on any factual change
• -Stable topics (history, technical fundamentals, Satoshi, glossary): updated only when factual errors are reported or new primary sources emerge

YMYL (Your Money / Your Life) policy

Because this site touches financial and investment topics, it falls under Google's YMYL category. To meet that bar we adhere to:

• -Expertise: technical topics align with original sources (whitepaper / BIPs / Bitcoin Core)
• -Authoritativeness: regulation and tax topics cite official agency documents only
• -Trustworthiness: fact-checking, explicit citations, a visible last-updated date, a public editorial policy, and public operator information
• -No alarmism: no "guaranteed profit" or "guaranteed price increase" framing
• -Respect for the reader: no price predictions and no buy/sell recommendations. We provide the information; the reader decides

Corrections

When we find a factual error, we correct it promptly and update the last-updated date on the affected article. Substantive changes are recorded with their date in the revision history at the end of that article, and collected chronologically on the site-wide changelog. Wording tweaks and typo fixes are not recorded. Corrections and error reports can be sent through the contact page.

AI crawlers and LLMs

This site explicitly allows AI search, user-agent, and training crawlers—including OAI-SearchBot, GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, Claude-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, and Claude-User—to access public content. Operator-owned article text, original diagrams, and public data may be used for citation, summarization, indexing, search, RAG, machine analysis, and AI model training under the content reuse terms. When citing this library, check the canonical URL, last-updated date, claim boundary, and originating evidence; do not mistake this editorial synthesis for the original historical or protocol record.
